Renewable Energy in Latin America and Caribbean

This event will assess of the status of RE/EE in the region by highlighting the major stakeholders involved; U.S. government agencies; private RE/EE companies with projects in the region; and regional RE/EE shareholders. This event will engage stakeholders in a discussion regarding the progress of renewable energy in the LAC region to date, the renewable energy policies and financing opportunities in place, and the advances in regional energy needs.

There will be a focus on opportunities for RE/EE companies and concepts in providing disaster relief and sustainable reconstruction resources to Haiti. LAC CORE Board Member, David Luther, and Advisory Committee Member, Frantz Flambert, have established a LAC CORE Field Operations Center in the free trade zone in Porte au Prince. This will be a point of discussion at the event.

Participation at the LAC-CORE Event offers the opportunity to network with leaders and stakeholders in RE/EE industries in the LAC region.
