Welcome to Regional Renewable Energy Initiatives

A regional initiative is one where several countries are being funded by one or more agencies.

Funding Opportunities

Sponsored by the Caribbean Energy Information System (CEIS)

Energy Financing

Recent impact assessment studies of energy interventions in the Caribbean have revealed that in addition to several agencies being involved in the financing of energy interventions; billions of dollars have also been pumped into the region over the years to support these development efforts.

To better coordinate, manage and share information on these efforts the following pages are being hosted on the Caribbean Information Platform on Renewable Energy (CIPORE) to assist in this effort and place access squarely at your fingertips.

If you are seeking funding opportunities for projects in the Caribbean, go to the Funding Opportunities for Green Projects in the Caribbean (FOG-PC) Page for more information.
If you are seeking information on the projects that have been funded in the Caribbean and their associated funding agencies –the CARICOM Sustainable Energy Coordination (C-SEC) Page, has your answer.
