Post-conference workshop
Power Purchasing Structures and Options in the Renewable Energy SectorThis workshop, presented by Mark Safty, chair of energy and infrastructure at Holland & Hart LLP, contains two principal components. Mr. Safty will first present a detailed overview of the various power purchasing contracts and mechanisms that are commonly used in the renewable energy arena, with adequate time for discussion and analysis of the structures that are used for various types of technologies and project sizes. The second component of the workshop will include an interactive and detailed review of a fairly standard PPA, which will highlight issues and pitfalls while illustrating negotiation and drafting techniques for improving the document.
