Dubbed the H2-Flex Hydrogen Hybrid Kit, it significantly improves gas mileage, eliminates the need for gas and diesel, extends engine life, cleans engine while driving, increases horsepower and prevents damage caused by E10,  according to the organisers of the national awards programme.

No electricity is required, no oxygen is generated and there is no need for O2 extenders of EFIE fuel injection system modification to a car.  The H2-Flex Hydrogen Hybrid Kit is 100 per cent Jamaican-made and can be retrofitted  to any vehicle.

Mayne and his team were honoured at the National Commission on Science and Technology’s National Medal for Science, Technology and Innovations Awards Ceremony at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel on Wednesday night, November 12, 2014.
