Caribbean Clean Energy Business Forum 2011

The American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (AMCHAMDR) is joining forces with the U.S. Commercial Service in Santo Domingo and the Dominican government’s Center for Export & Investment (CEI-RD) to organize the “Caribbean Clean Energy Business Forum 2011,” being held in Santo Domingo on February 16-17, 2011.

The purpose of this event is to provide a platform to facilitate the development of clean energy technologies in the Caribbean region, and to review the sources of project financing and technical support. Due to the regional scope of the forum, it will encourage interregional partnerships and cooperation aimed to increase the use and production of clean energy in these countries.

The Dominican Republic and Haiti offer a wide range of opportunities for clean energy production and technologies. The Forum will provide suppliers of clean energy equipment and services with a unique promotional vehicle to develop business opportunities in the region.

The program will include presentations by leading clean energy experts from the public and private sectors. Panels on specific topics will review current developments and opportunities related to particular areas of clean energy.

A parallel exhibition of products and services will also be available for attendees.
